Submission of application for admission into B.A 1st, 3rd & 5th semesters (CBCS) under Assam University will be through only online mode. silcharcollege.ac.in

Online submission of application for admission into B.A. (CBCS) Pass & Honours will be notified in the website.

For online application students must visit the website of Silchar College i.e. www.silcharcollege.ac.in & login to admission portal and register their name and Mobile No. into the admission portal. Candidate must enter a valid mobile no. On this mobile no. an OTP will be send for verifying the mobile number.

After successful registration the candidates will be able to apply their application for different courses offered by the college.

After completing the required fill in the application form a candidate can review the application for any changes before final submission. No changes can be done after the final submission of the application form.

While uploading the documents:-
(a) Passport size photograph of the candidate must be uploaded in JPG format of size below 1 MB
(b) Scanned signature of the candidate must be uploaded in JPG format of size below 1 MB
(c) For age proof, cerificate, admit card of HSLC or equivalent examination must be uploaded in JPG format of size below 1 MB
(d) Candidates must upload their HSLC & HS passed mark sheet and certificate from a recognised Board or Council in JPG format of size below 1 MB
(e) Caste certificate for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(H), ST(P) must be uploaded in JPG format of size below 1 MB.

After final Submission of the form the candidate have to take out a printout & keep it for future reference.

Hard copy of the application form must be submitted to the office along with self attested xerox copies of all relevant documents & 3 passport size photographs within 3 working days of submitting online application.

Students may have to submit original copy of gap certificate & migration certificates, if required at the time of admission.
